Attention all Trout Lake Campers!
The Trout Lake Campers Association is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join us as volunteers for our upcoming 2025 annual picnic. This is an incredible opportunity to make a positive impact and help us create unforgettable memories for campers of all ages.
As a volunteer, you will play a key role in making the picnic a memorable experience for our campers. Whether you excel at organizing activities, coordinating logistics, or assisting with setup, your help is invaluable. There’s a place for everyone to contribute and make this event a success!
Here are some of the volunteer duties you can take part in:
- Activity Organizers: Are you full of energy and love leading group activities? Help organize and supervise fun games, scavenger hunts, or arts and crafts sessions. Your creativity will bring joy to campers’ faces.
- General Support: If you’re a jack-of-all-trades, we also need volunteers who can lend a helping hand wherever needed. From directing campers to managing registration.
Our community events wouldn’t be possible without amazing volunteers like you! Whether you have a few hours to spare or want to take on a bigger role, every bit of help makes a difference. Here are some ways you can pitch in:
Get Involved! Help Make Our Picnic a Success
Event Prep & Setup
✅ Purchase prizes for the fish pond, horseshoes, jelly bean guessing contest, and Santa’s candy
✅ Buy towels for race winners
✅ Print contest sheets for jelly bean guessing, oldest/youngest camper, race winners, horseshoes, and more
✅ Create a membership prize sign to recognize donors and winners
Day-of Event Help
🎪 Set up the tent, equipment, games, and organize canoes
🚤 Assist with loading/unloading equipment from boats
🛟 Operate a safety boat for water activities
📣 Serve as a megaphone announcer to keep everyone engaged
Running Contests & Selling Tickets
🏆 Manage the horseshoe tournament
🏊 Oversee games, canoe races, and swimming competitions
🎟 Sell raffle tickets & 50/50 draw tickets
🎁 Help solicit, organize, and distribute prizes
